A Dress Come True is a Montreal-run non-profit charity that works towards ensuring every teenage girl gets to attend her high school prom. With the help of sponsors and community donations of gowns, shoes and accessories, we are able to dress girls otherwise unable to afford a prom ensemble for no cost.

Dresses are lent out during one of our annual Boutique Days (for times and location, see ‘Boutique Days’ tab). Upon arrival, the girls are paired with a Dress Come True volunteer who assists them in finding the perfect gown and accessories amongst our collection. The ensemble is lent out and returned to one of our partnered dry cleaners a week later.

We seek to make sure that no girl is left behind in celebrating her accomplishments. In finding a fabulous dress, we hope that each student we are able to serve has a prom that is their dream come true.
